Blacks Power Football Club won the 2025/26 FUFA Big League trophy

Blacks Power Football Club won the 2025/26 FUFA Big League trophy.

This happened after a nail-biting finish of the season won they claimed the title on the final day of the season.

Blacks Power drew goalless with Onduparaka at the Ababet GreenLight stadium in Stadium to finish top of the standings with 55 points, 2 adrift from their closest challengers Ntugasaze.

Ntugasaze won 3-0 over Kiyinda Boys on the final day of the season to finish with 53 points.

Kigezi Home Boyz lost 0-1 at home to visiting CATDA in Kabale, finishing the season in the third place with 51 points.

At the Coffee playground in Bugolobi, Kampala; Kataka overcame Soltilo Bright Stars 2-0 to get promoted.

Ali Ssentamu (penalty) and Usama Khayemba scored Kataka’s two goals in either half.

Kataka thus joined champions Blacks Power, Kigezi Home Boyz and Ntugasaze among the promoted clubs to the top tier league.

Other match day 30 results:

CATDA won 1-0 away to Kigezi Home Boyz at the Al Madina Stadium in Kabale.

Paidha Black Angels edged Nebbi Central 1-0 at the Luo stadium during the West Nile derby.

Ntugasaze overcame Kiyinda Boys 3-0. James Jarieko scored a brace and Kawanguzi added the other.

At the Mbale City stadium, Mbale Heroes fell 2-6 to visting Iganga United.

Kaaro Karungi edged Bunyaruguru United 1-0 on the road in Kasese.

The crowning ceremony for the champions is expected to be conducted on Sunday, 7th June 2026 in Lira city at 10 AM.

Relegated:

Mbale Heroes, Soltilo Bright Stars, Wakiso Giants and Nebbi Central were all relegated to the respective regional leagues.
