Morocco goalkeeper Yassine Bounou was delighted with his side’s win over Scotland admitting it was a good game against a very strong and difficult opponent.

The experienced custodian kept a clean sheet after Ismael Saibari scored an early opener, in just seventy seconds.

“I think we played a very good game against a strong opponent, with players with a lot of experience,” said Yassine Bounou.

“I think we had a lot of patience and we were able to create chances, although they were in a very, very low block.

“In the last ten minutes they pushed a little more and, when we had to step back, we did it well.”

Morocco will finish the group matches with a match against lowly ranked Haiti with a win possibly taking them over the top of the group as they head into the round of 32.
