Uganda Premier League outfit Lugazi has announced the signing of versatile player Frank Mulimi aka Da Costa from SC Villa.
Mulimi joins the Leaders on a two-year deal as the team prepares for the upcoming new season.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Frank Mulimi ‘Da Costa’ from SC Villa.” The club confirmed.
Last season, Mulimi featured for SC Villa but found playing time hard to come by.
Upon putting pen to paper, Mulimi stated that he is ready to work hard and impress at his new home.
“I am pleased with this move,” Mulimi, For me, I am impressed with the project here and I love the organisation at this club. I have come to work harder and harder because I believe that’s the only way this team can get better results.”
“I am familiar with most of the players here, including the coach, and that will make it easy for me to hit the ground running so fast.” He said.
Before joining SC Villa, Mulimi had played for Gaddafi FC (now Entebbe UPPC).
He becomes the third signing for Lugazi FC, joining Christopher Birungi, Jamaldine Buchochera and Louis Anguti.
