The Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Association (FEASSA) Games for the year 2026 are set to take place in Morogoro, Tanzania, from 10th to 22nd August.

Hosts Tanzania will be joined by perennial winners Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi for the games that mark the 23rd edition since inception.

Football (Boys and Girls) is one of the eagerly awaited competitive sports that will spice up these games.

The draws for most games were held at the GNS Plaza Hotel in Kampala on Thursday, 6th August 2026.

Boys’ football defending champion Bukedea Comprehensive School is pooled in Group C and will compete alongside fellow Ugandan ambassadors Kyaddondo SS, Urambo Day (Tanzania) and the Kenya champions Kakamega School.

Uganda’s reigning champions Amus College School are in Group A with Mengai Boys (Kenya), Nsumba (Tanzania), Mbeya Day (Tanzania) and Burundian side IPTEM Makamba.

Group B has the FEASSA record champions St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende, CGF Kigali (Rwanda), St Mary’s Yala (Kenya) and the hosts Morogoro from Tanzania.

Girls Football:

Meanwhile, in girls’ football, Rines S.S (Uganda), Archbishop Njenga (Kenya), Zimba (Tanzania) and Kilombero (Tanzania) constitute Group A.

Group B has Amus College School; Alliance High School (Tanzania), PSSSB Huye (Rwanda) and Nyakachi Girls (Kenya).

In Group C, there is Bon Consili (Uganda), St Joseph’s Girls Kitale (Kenya), Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) and Fountain Gate (Tanzania).

Besides football, these games also entail Netball, Basketball, Rugby 7s & 15s, Tennis, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Beach Soccer, Handball, Cricket, Baseball & Softball, Hockey among others.

The indoor games include Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Scrabble, Swimming and others.
