FUFA, through its competitions department, released the fixtures for the second division (FUFA Big League) on Tuesday. The list of games revealed only caters for the first round of the 2026-27 season.
The new season will get underway on 27th September, with the first round expected to run up to 20th December 2026.
It should be noted that the 2026-27 season will feature 14 teams with 156 games expected to be played across the entire campaign.
Unlike last season when four teams earned promotion to the Uganda Premier League, it was confirmed that only the top two teams will move up, with four dropping from the top division.
Four newcomers from the Eight Regional Leagues of FUFA were promoted to this year’s FUFA Big League. These include: SC Volcanoes, Amus College, Buwambo United and Pakwach Young Stars.
