Mbarara City head coach Francis Mugerwa wants his boys to build on the impressive draw with NEC when they host Entebbe UPPC at Rwamanja stadium in Kamwenge on Wednesday.
The Ankole Lions picked their first point in a goalless draw with NEC although they were fortunate as Innocent Media goal was wrongly disallowed for an inexistent offside call.
“The lads are motivated and eager to play as we take on UPPC,” said Mugerwa. “It will be a tough game against a good side but we want to build on that performance and result against NEC to claim all points which is our primary target,” he added.
“Overall, I expect an entertaining game and I call upon all fans to show up in good numbers.”
Brian Aheebwa ad Rogers Mugisha will be key to unlock the Printers backline who are still without Ahmed Amayo, Isa Mubiru, Hassan Ssenyonjo and Noordin Bunjo who are out injured.
Last season’s corresponding fixture at the same venue ended in a 1-1 draw.
Overall, the two sides have crossed paths six times with four wins for Entebbe UPPC [L1, D1].
Elsewhere, KCCA host Kataka at Lugogo while Police take on Lugazi at Najjembe.
