- Kataka vs SC Villa – BCS Complex, Bukedea 4pm
SC Villa head coach Zeljko Kovacevic has warned his charges against underestimating Kataka who they face at the Bukedea Sports Complex on league return on Wednesday.
Villa head to the east second on the table with 10 points, two behind leaders BUL and will move to the top of the table with a victory.
Kataka are yet to win a game in the premier league with just one draw against UPDF to show in their opening match followed by defeats to BUL (4-1) and KCCA (0-1).
Kovacevic was in the stands as Kataka played KCCA at Lugogo and a few notes about them.
“I watched them against KCCA and they are a very strong team who have a good defence and good counterattacks,” he told the press. “They had like 2-3 chances to score but they missed. Nevertheless, we shall go there and try to win the game because we want to stay in the top contenders,” he added.
First choice goalkeeper David Lukwago, defender Geofrey Lubangakene and forward Frank Ssebuufu have returned from national duty and the Serbian has included them in the squad to Bukedea.
“They will be us but may not start,” emphasized Kovacevic. “They could have minutes especially in the second half but we have a young team who we believe in could fill the void just in case.”
Najib Yiga has trained well with the team and could be included for the first time this season while Isaac Mpagi is back from suspension.
Andrew Otim, with two goals from the bench is likely to start for the first time this season but has to fight for a place with Isaac Gumperom.
Elsewhere, Kitara host Kigezi Home Boyz at Hoima City stadium, Maroons host Lugazi at Wankulukuku while Ntugasaze host Mbarara City at Kira Police Arena, Kamwokya
