Entebbe UPPC Football Club secured their third victory of the 2026/27 Uganda Premier League season with a convincing 3-0 victory over Police at the Hamz Stadium on 9th October 2026.
Steven Munguchi scored a brace and Ambrose Kigozi added the other as the Printers ran riot on a wet astro turf following the afternoon downpour in Kampala and the surrounding areas.
Munguchi gave the Entebbe based side the early lead in the 5th minute, heading in the second after 28 minutes.
Towards the end of the opening half, Police was reduced to ten minute following the sending off of left back Richard Matovu for a second bookable offence.
The two sides called for a couple of changes in the second half with the home side pushing numbers ahead for further goals.
On the defensive, they remained rock solid every time Ivan Mayanja and lead forward Bedia Ikamba threathened.
Kigozi capped the icing on the cake with a great chipped finish past the goalkeeper on the stroke of full time to seal the victory and maximum points as the Printers climbed to fourth on the log with 10 points.
The Entebbe UPPC – Police clash was the early kick off duel for the double header that was followed by the explosive URA versus KCCA duel in the battle of authority clubs.
