Toyota Buffaloes unveil their new home and away kits

Buffaloes Rugby Club is energized prior to the 2026 Uganda Cup with a new home and away kit from their sponsors CFAO Mobility.

This marks nearly two decades of partnership that has supported the club’s growth and the development of Ugandan rugby talent since 2007.

The kits were officially handed over at an event at the Toyota showroom in Kampala, attended by players, club officials, supporters, and representatives of the Uganda Rugby Union.

Held under the theme, “A New Chapter. A New Look. The Same Spirit,” the unveiling comes on the back of a landmark season for the Buffaloes, who reached the Uganda Rugby Premiership final for the first time in 13 years.

The team’s return to the Premiership final this year demonstrated what patience, commitment and belief in local talent can achieve. As we unveil these new kits ahead of the Uganda Cup, we look forward to building on this shared history and supporting the club’s ambitions. Our partnership with the Buffaloes has grown alongside generations of players who have found opportunity, developed their abilities and represented their country through rugby.

Toyota has remained part of our journey through seasons of growth, difficult results and moments that have made everyone associated with this club proud. Returning to the Premiership final this year showed our players what they can achieve together. As we prepare for the Uganda Cup, this jersey gives us another reason to take pride in representing the Buffaloes and to repay the belief of our supporters and partners with committed performances.

Grassroots rugby development & community involvement

Over the past 19 years, the partnership has extended beyond sponsorship to include grassroots rugby development and community initiatives, including children’s rugby mentorship, support for Banunule Orphanage, provision of scholastic materials and road-safety education.

The collaboration has also coincided with major milestones for the club, including a league final appearance in 2013 and the National Sevens title in 2014.

The Buffaloes have also developed several national team players, including Philip Wokorach, Pius Ogena and Solomon Okia, among others.
