Seals Swim Club won the first Seals Invitational swimming meet that concluded at Kampala Parents School in Naguru on Sunday in a four day event that attracted two Kenyan clubs Torpedo swimming club from Eldoret and USIU Dolphines Swim Club, Nairobi, Kenya.

Seals Swim Club ended the Invitational with 941.50 points with Torpedo Swim Club Eldoret with 493 points while fast-rising side Altona swim club had a total of 265.50 points.

USIU Dolphines Swim Club was fourth with 105 points while Makerere University, Uganda Christian University finished fifth and sixth with 65 and 20 points.

The win for Seals was a big boost ahead of the National Swimming Club Championships this weekend which will see them taking on Dolphins Swimming Club, Altona swimming club, Blue Whales, Sharks, Gliders.

Seals won the Women’s overall crown with 574 points with Torpedo Swim Club, Eldoret coming second while Altona swim club was third with 224 and 118 points respectively.

Seals also won the Men’s overall crown with 367.50 points with Torpedo Swim Club and Altona Swim Club finishing second and third with 269 and 147.50 points respectively.
