Tayebwa, Nakato shine at 4th Corporate Woodball circuit

St Joseph’s Technical School’s Rogers Tayebwa had a field day at office as he won the 4th circuit of the corporate woodball circuit at the Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Nakawa campus over the weekend.

Tayebwa scored 49 strokes, one better of Raymond Ssemata who finished second overall.

MUBS’ Mable Nakato clinched the ladies’ top title with 57 strokes, 4 better of Shannez Luwedde of St Marks college, Namagooma.

There were competitors from MUBS, St. Mark’s College Namagoma, St. Joseph’s Technical Institute Kisubi, Ndejje University, Bank of Uganda, Reigners Woodball Club, Nalinya Lwantale Girls’ P/S, Stroke Woodball Club, Stanbic Bank, Proway Sports Academy and Urban TV.

Godfrey Bukenya and Collins Joseph Ssemmanda  have now fetched 68 points from 4 Circuits in the men category whilst Mulamba Margaret cuts Rose Matovu’s lead at the top to only 3 points with 2 circuits to go.

Urban Television’s Thomas Muruka played well

The next Woodball event will be 3^rd Beach Woodball Circuit slated for September 13, 2015 at Sports Beach Entebbe.
