Uganda Premier league club, Soana F.C completed the signing of Simon Okwi from Jinja club, Bul F.C during the January transfer window.
Although the club is yet to formalize with the Transfer Matching System modalities, initial agreements between the forward and the club were completed.
He becomes the club’s third signing after the acquisition of Ozil Ssali and Asien Mubiru.
Okwi was released by BUL F.C at the close of business, of the 2015/16 first round season.
He was among the five players that Alex Isabirye let go from the Kakindu based club due to inconsistent performances and non convincing discipline.
Others were Muhamed Kanakulya, goal keeper Franco Oringa, Fred Agandu and forward Ivan Lubaale.
The secondary season transfer window started on 1st January and will climax by mid-night 31st January 2016.
