Kobs vs. Buffaloes – Legends, 5:00pm

When they visit Betway Kobs tomorrow (Friday), Toyota Buffaloes will be in search of their fifth win of the season and head coach Edgar Lemerigar is positive his side can pick a good result.

“It will be a hard and interesting game because the two sides play the same style of rugby,” Lemerigar told Kawowo sports ahead of the Friday fixture.

Kobs top the 10-team log with 34 points and will be looking to stretch their lead over Heathens. The defending champions will be in action on Saturday and Kobs could find themselves as many as seven points clear of the Robert Sseguya-coached side.

“They (Kobs) have a heavier pack but we will try to contain them, we have played much heavier packs,” Lemerigar, whose side beat Mongers despite having a weaker pack, added.

With six games played, Buffaloes have a game in hand and are looking to close in on the top four sides. Buffaloes are coming off a 15-09 win over Gulu Elephants while Kobs defeated Black Pirates 23-08 in the Legends derby.
