BUL F.C 1-0 Simba S.C

Shaka Ssozi officially opened his goal account at BUL Football Club on Tuesday during a Uganda Premier League duel with army side, Simba Sports Club at the Kakindu stadium.

The army side, who had scored five goals in their last game against Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) were the dominant side for long spells of the game.

Still under the tutelage of the goalkeeping coach, Frank Ssebagala since the sacking of former head coach, Morley Byekwaso in February, Simba find themselves between a hard place and a rock in as far as surviving relegation is concerned.

Simba is 14th with 19 points with the closest relegation bound opponent, The Saints condemning SC Victoria University to a 4-1 loss in the Namboole derby.

The victory for BUL before the home fans was just a perfect recovery path from the wounds suffered in the 1-0 loss to Jinja nemesis, Sadolin Paints in the derby at the Bugembe stadium.

David Isabirye is a senior staff writer for Kawowo Sports where he covers most of the major events.
