Hima Cement Heathens are about to lose their second battle to rivals Betway Kobs.
The first was surrendering the league title to their Legends counterparts and they are about to lose their credibility.
Heathens host Kobs on Saturday afternoon and ordinarily, as new champions, Kobs should be getting a guard of honour from their hosts as a sign of respect.
But, that will not be the case, at least according to head coach Robert SSeguya. “We shall clap for them at the end of the game and not at the start,” he told Kawowo Sports.
In the first round encounter with Kobs, Heathens players had to be convinced before they accepted to shake hands with Kobs players.
The Michael Wockorach led brigade cried foul and felt cheated in their 27-28 loss to Kobs.
Philip Wockorach’s try in the middle of the posts was disallowed in the dying minutes of the game with the touch judge calling play back for a forward pass.
The Saturday will be a game to restore some pride as the title is already and the home side is expected to produce the A game.
Toyota Buffaloes denied Heathens a guard of honour in their last game of the season.
