The transfer window seems to be a time to recapture former players for KCCA with reports ripe that striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma is on the brink of rejoining the club from Lweza.
The veteran forward, who featured for the Lugogo club between 2004 and 2007 is understood to have done a medical test on Wednesday and is viewed as a replacement for Herman Wasswa who opted not to renew his contract.
It remains unclear as regards the details of the contract but inside sources reveal the Ugandan international has signed a one year deal.
Sserunkuma now joins winger Vincent Kayizzi and Brian Majwega on the list of former KCCA players targeted by the club in the window.
The 33 year old has previously featured for Police, Nalubaale, Vasco Da Gama, Saint George, Bloemfontein Celtics and Bidvest Wits.
The club is also targeting The Saints versatile player, Marlon Tangauzi, striker George Senkaaba and Paul Musamali.
