- APR FC 1-0 Espoir FC (Aggregate Score: 1-0)
- Rayon Sports 3-2 AS Kigali (Aggregate Score: 4-3)
Rayon Sports will play APR in the 2016 Peace cup final this Monday at the Amahoro national stadium in Kigali.
This was confirmed after the return legs of the two semi-finals played.
Rayon Sports, home to Uganda Cranes striker Davis Kasirye outwitted AS Kigali 3-2 at Stade Muhanga after the final leg had ended one goal apiece.
Pierrot Kwizera, a Burundian born striker netted a brace to add on Ismailla Diarra’s other goal.
AS Kigali had scored through Muhamud Kabura and Mico Justin.
APR won the second semi final 1-0 against Espoir Fc 1-0 at Stade De Kigali.
Janvier Benedata scored the solitary strike on the day in the 90th minute of the closely contested encounter.
The final of the 2016 Peace Cup tournament will be played on Monday, July 4, 2016 at Amahoro Stadium at while the third-match play-off will kick off at 13:00.
The defending champions Police FC were eliminated by Amagaju FC at the round of 16.
The winner of this year’s Peace Cup tournament will represent Rwanda at 2017 CAF Orange Confederation Cup.
