3rd Beach Woodball Circuit slated for Sunday in Entebbe

3rd Beach Woodball Circuit: 11th September 2016

• At Entebbe Sports Beach (9 a.m – 5 p.m)

Woodball players in the country head for the 3^rd Beach Woodball Circuit this Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Sports Beach – Entebbe.

According to a statement released by the Uganda Woodball Federation (UWbF), action will get underway at 9 a.m.

Seasoned top performers Joel Adupa and Lillian Zawedde who top the points logs will have different goals besides aiming to retain the top rankings.

Adupa will be seeking his 2^nd consecutive win at the Beach having won at the 2^nd Circuit to break the dominance of Ronald Kawumba.

Adupa tops the men’s points log with 94 points, 6 better than 2^nd place Kamoga Collins who has collected 88 points from the same number of circuits.

Adupa will face stiff competition from Kamoga Collins, Kawumba Ronald and Ajoba Faustine on the same scorecard.

On the side of ladies, Zawedde Lillian will be seeking her 2^nd win at the Beach in 2016; Lillian won at 1^st Circuit and 4^th and the 2^nd Circuit. Former team-mate and partner, Nantege Shamsa Kyolaba won the 2^ndCircuit.

Lillian has accumulated 62 points so far, 1 better than closest rival and reigning Beach Champion, Mukoova Joan.

Zawedde Lillian, Mukoova Joan, Namuddu Sophia and Nabaggala Rose Sandra will be in the same group come Sunday.

Corporate competition will also be held at the same time.

Semata Raymond (St. Joseph’s Technical Institute Kisubi) and Nakazzi Ruth (Ndejje S.S) are currently topping the points logs with 46 and 41 points respectively.
