Burly SC Villa striker Alex ‘Benzema’ Kitata looks forward scoring more goals for the club.

Now with four goals in five matches, the former Saints striker eyes more goals to help the club win their 17th league crown.

I want to keep scoring. Strikers are judged by the number of goals scored.

Kitata is glad to work with a very ‘cooperative and supportive’ family at SC Villa, which in a way or the other has helped him settle in swiftly.

From the officials, fellow players and fans, all people at SC Villa have helped me settle in well and I feel at home.

This has also helped me perform to the expectations.

I will work hard, like always to keep rewarding the faith.

After missing the club’s Independence Day Cup victory against Bright Stars on Sunday evening with a malaria bout, Kitata perfectly recovered and held the last training with the club on Monday before being named for the starting line up on Tuesday against The Saints, his former club.

Scoring against my former club was a normal thing.

Actually, it never crossed my mind that I had scored my former team.

I will keep working hard to score more and more goals.

In his debut season at the top flight level (Uganda Premier League), Kitata dogged by a series of injuries managed a miserable four goals all season round.

A season before he had top scored the Big League charts with The Saints (with 18 goals to his name).

The former Mukono Pirates robust striker born in Kisombwa village, Kayunga Town Council is blessed with enviable amounts of calories to burn with great shooting abilities.

Kitata is among the center forwards at the Nsambya based club.

Umar Kasumba, Ivorian Olivier are the other two natural strikers at the club with team skipper Mike Sserumaga often ghosting as a half nine to supplement the attacking options.

SC Villa is second on the 16 team log.
