Pirates vs Warriors, Legends Rugby Grounds at 5:00pm
From downing Kobs, to nearly finishing off Heathens in the Uganda Cup, Pirates look so geared up to impress this new season.
The fast improving side face Warriors at Legends Rugby Grounds on Friday in the Rugby Premiership, after opening with a 27-08 win over Impis.
Alongside a new face on the touchline in Sam Musinguzi – who took over from Anthony Kinene, Pirates are standing out against their opponents.

On the other hand, Warriors take to the turf following loss at Rhinos. A 13-38 disappointment is not what any club could clearly desire and the low moments may spur them in one way or another.
The outfit has recently made the headlines following a ban on Zeno Othieno Owora by the Uganda Rugby Union, a directive that even forced them to forfeit the 2016 Uganda Cup quarter final match against Heathens.
Coach players, Henry Musisi and Gabriel Aredo now face a daunting task of organizing their colleagues against a side that has realized growth over the years thanks to few exits and continuous strengthening of the squad.
FACTS
When the duo met last season, Pirates won the opener 32-00 but Warriors came back to win the home match 15-10.
For the past two seasons, Pirates have won three while Warriors have walked away victors once.
Warriors have scored only 35 points against Pirates for the past four Premiership meetings, an average of 8.75 points per match.
