Binh Duong 2-4 SC Villa

A rampant SC Villa began their Vietnam tour with a sounding victory as they came from a goal down to beat Binh Duong 4-2.
The Jogoos who are reportedly set to feature in seven games in just ten days before returning home conceded as early as three minutes through Linh.
It ended 1-0 in favour of the Vietnam side in the first half but it took ten minutes for SC Villa to level through substitute Fuadi Ndayisenga who had come on for Martin Kizza.
Another substitute, Alex Kitaata who came on for Umar Kasumba put Shafik Bisaso’s side in front for the first time with an 80th minute goal after he had also cancelled out another goal from Linh.
Linh had restored the hosts lead with a goal in the 65th minute while it took Kitaata three minutes to level the game again.
Skipper of the day Taddeo Lwanga put the icing on the cake with a goal in the 90th minute to seal the Blues’ victory.
The Ugandan side returns to action on Wednesday with another trial game against Dong Tam Long An.
The 16-time league champions are using the league break to sharpen their side before games against Vipers, Kirinya Jinja SS and URA to complete the first round next month.
