Kenyan international midfielder Danson Kago has praised Coach Paul Nkata after he guided Tusker to a double this season.

Kago, who is in Uganda with the Brewers ahead of an international club friendly with KCCA at the Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo on Saturday described Nkata as a cool but tactical coach.

“He is a cool coach but tactically so astute,” said Kago. “He has changed a lot at the club right from discipline to everything. He has earned respect,” he added.

The attacking midfielder also revealed he would love to play in Uganda at least once in his career pointing at KCCA and Express as his favourite clubs.

“I would love to play here as well. I like KCCA and Express and if a chance arises, you never know but for now, am Tusker.”

On Ugandan football, Kago admitted knowing little about the footballers but says the few Ugandans he knows are technically gifted and tough.

“I must admit, I don’t know much about Ugandan players apart from the few I watch in the KPL but they technically gifted.
