In an exclusive interview with Kawowo Sports on Monday, Mubiru, a former Uganda Cranes international clearly highlighted;
I am still strong and confident of my abilities and potential.
On Sunday, Mubiru alongside his immediate assistant George ‘Best’ Nsiimbe and John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda lost their jobs following that shocking 2-1 loss to Sports Club Villa Jogoo at Nakivubo war memorial stadium.

Mubiru’s reign at the helm of the hot Vipers top bench has seen him manage the club through 14 competitive games.
Four of these have been lost, five won and drawn apiece.
Vipers are 5th on the premier league log after a 2-1 loss against SC Villa on Saturday, their second defeat in the league.
On Tuesday, they travel to Bombo Army Barracks stadium to face The Saints, a game that will be handled by Richard Wasswa and John Billy Kiggundu (goalkeeping coach), the two interim tacticians at the club.
A new coach will be named in the due course.
