After helping Tusker FC lift the Kenya Premier League (KPL) title, Ugandan midfielder Hashim Sempala is on the way out of the club.
The former Express and Bul midfield gem left for Vietnam on Monday December 5 for trials at an unspecified club and is expected to sign if he all goes well.
Coach Paul Nkata, in an interview with Soka.ke confirmed the development revealing the club may lose the player.
“It true that Sempala (Hashim) has left for Vietnam for talks with one of the clubs in that country,” Nkata is quoted by the website.
“If everything goes as he has planned then we might lose him and that will force us to look for a replacement in time to fill the void. He has served us well and should he leave, he will be going with our luck.
Sempala joined the Brewers in mid-season from Bul FC and has been key in the midfield for the eleven time champions alongside Cercidy Lumumba and Humphrey Mieno.
