Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovic has lashed out at “perennial losers and failures with Uganda Cranes that never qualified for AFCON” in the wake of the national team’s loss to Ghana at the continental showpiece in Gabon.

Uganda lost 1-0 to Ghana in their opener of the Africa Cup Nations. Ghana’s Andre Ayew netted the winner through a penalty, goalkeeper Denis Onyango diving the wrong way.

Several pundits lashed out at Micho in the aftermath – former Uganda Cranes star David Obua describing the team’s display as “Street football” stirred with players running all over the pitch.
“Street football was having players running all over the place, losing our shape but it looks good to watch coz the effort is there,” Obua wrote on his Twitter page.

If you saw how we played with the same system but on many occasions having our centre back Isinde getting caught out of position!

Micho on Friday morning seemed to reply Obua in a tweet, comparing the pundit’s talk to that of a local motorcycle rider (Bodaboda) dreaming Formula 1.
Perennial losers&failures with UG CRANES that never qualified for AFCON talk with jealousy same like Bodaboda driver dream&talk of Formula 1

Uganda plays Egypt on Saturday with Murushid Jjuuko and Aucho Khalid who missed the opener because of accumulated yellow cards from the qualifiers returning.
