Bageya has signed a one-year deal with NAPSA Stars after agreeing a $30,000 sign on fee, $2500 monthly wage and $300 match allowance with a house in Lusaka.

Last season, NAPSA Stars finished 10th on the 18 team log in the Zambia top flight league with 42 points fetched from 34 games.

An excited Bageya spoke to Kawowo Sports after return from Hoshiarpur City where JCT F.C is based;

It is now done and dusted. I will play at NAPSA Stars they had a better offer. I am ready to give my best.

Bageya’s agent, Sarma, a Singapore resident but now based in Bangkok believes his client who is a confessed club nomad will serve his new pay masters to the best of expectations.

He is a great player and well in shape to score and create goals for NAPSA Stars who had a better offer presented than the other clubs.

Since Bageya left Uganda in the year 2001, he has played for a host of Kenyan clubs  – AFC Leopards, Gor Mahia, Nairobi City Stars, Nakumatt, Bandari.

The speed merchant and tricky player has also had stints in Rwanda and Botswana.
