National Basketball League champions City Oilers will want nothing less than a win when the take on minnows UPDF Tomahawks at YMCA.

Oilers who got off to a rocky start to the season last week with a 60-56 defeat to last year’s finalists Power are odds on for the win on Sunday evening.

Mandy Juruni will not be taking any chances as he tries to figure out new combinations to fit in his off-season acquisitions especially Steven Omony and Joseph Chuma.

Point guard Ben Komakech is likely to sit out again as he completely recovers from the groin injury. His absence will not be felt as Daniel Jjuko and Tonny Drileba should be up to the task of controlling City Oilers traffic in Wandegeya.

The Tomahawks will be playing their first game of the season.

In other games, Power will face UCU Canons in the biggest and last game of the day while in the women’s division new comers Lioness will play Magic Stormers.
