Scot Oluoch was one of Uganda’s best performers against the Kenya Simbas in the first leg of the Elgon Cup in Kampala.
Uganda’s first try, which was scored by eigthman Marvin Odongo, came off good territorial coverage and an off load from the Rhinos forward.
However, with the international fixtures coming fast, Oluoch is set to miss Uganda’s second and last game on the road due to work commitments.
It has emerged that the back-row will only feature in Nairobi before returning to Kampala for work.
The Rugby Cranes will connect to Dakar, Senegal after the Kenya game ahead of the July 1 encounter with the West African side.
The team will spend a full week in Senegal and is expected back in Kampala on July 3.
With the rest of the games to be played at home, Oluoch will be available for selection against Namibia, Tunisia and Zimbabwe.
Rugby Cranes players receive Ugx 250,000 for representing the country in away fixtures. They also collect Ugx 150,000 for the games played on home soil.
