- Our Savior 73-79 Power

After a cold display on Friday night in the loss to Warriors, five-time National Basketball League champions Power bounced back with a 79-73 win over Our Savior.
Buoyed by victory from their last outing (against JKL Dolphins), Our Savior kept the contest in the first half albeit losing both quarters 22-19 and 22-17 respectively.
Our Savior then turned up the heat in the third quarter exploding for 26 points ignited by Mulamba Nkumbi and Joseph Wacha. The Kikoni-based side led 63-60 going into the final period.
Paul Odong and Isaac Afidra took charge of the fourth quarter and Power held their never for the victory over a pumped up Our Savior.
Odong led the way with game high 21 points to pace Power. Afidra and Micheal Makiadi came in handy with 17 points and 12 rebounds apiece.
Wacha and Nkumbi led Our Savior’s team effort with 12 points each. Michael Opolot had 11 points.
Next Games
Our Savior next opponents are Nkumba Marine who they play on July 9 while Power will have to wait until July 14 to face steely JKL Dolphins.
