Rainbow Cup Season 4 runners up Afridi XI showed their intent by defeating favorites Keshwala Boys by 5 wickets last evening in Lugogo.
The cold evening couldn’t stop a big crowd that came to watch the game as 2 of the most exciting teams faced off.
Keshwala Boys batted first scoring 120/5 in their 16 Overs and the hard hitting pros were shut out by the disciplined bowling of Afridi XI.
In reply, Afridi XI chased the runs with 8 balls to spare. This win propels Afridi XI to the top of Group B and in prime position to make the semis.
In the other game of the night, Damani made light work of Lohana XI defeating them by 8 wickets.
Lohana set 62 all out with Damani chasing the total in 6.1 Overs for a loss of 2 wickets.
Tonight Keshwala Boys is back in action taking on Aziz Damani.
