- Onduparaka 2-0 Soana

First half goals from team captain Rashid Toha and debutant Viane Sekajugo were all Onduparaka needed to secure their third victory of the campaign in the Uganda Premier League on Saturday.
The Caterpillars – who had earlier in the day unveiled one of the telecom companies as their new sponsors – waited for only seconds for the opening goal to arrive as Toha netted in the 1st minute.
Making his first appearance for the club since his switch from Jinja side JMC, Viane Sekajugo opened his club account inside ten minutes to make it 2-0 for his side.
The two goals were just enough to see Onduparaka wrap up an exciting day as no team saw the net in the second half.
Following their 1-0 victory over Police before the international break two weeks ago, it was Onduparaka’s second win at home this season and their third overall. The other win was a 2-0 win over Maroons at Luzira last month.
For the visitors Soana, the loss was their second in a row and their third this season having lost to Proline in similar fashion before the international break.
Onduparaka ascend to third with 10 points; Soana meanwhile stay second last with four points.
