Soana maintained their unbeaten run at home this season with a goalless draw against Mbarara City on Tuesday.
Having drawn against Vipers in their previous game, and Mbarara beating Police over the weekend, both sides went into the game in good spirits, but none could see the back of the net.
It was Soana’s second draw at Kavumba having drawn with Bright Stars on match day two. For Mbarara City, it was their second draw away from home.
The league debutants maiden game in the Uganda Premier League also ended goalless. It was against Bul last month.
The side’s wait for a win on the road continues. They have two victories to their name though that came at home. The first was against Express.
Likewise, Soana do extend the wait for a second league win. The Kavumba side has only one win that came against Masavu.
The result lifted Soana just above the relegation zone. Mbarara City remain eighth in the league.
