Weatherhead Hockey Club [M] produced the best reply for Kampala Stallions’ victory over Simba.
Weatherhead went into their game against Rockets well aware that title rivals KHC had beaten Simba to go top of the National Hockey League. They needed a win to keep Bernard Bwire’s side in check and a win they got in style.
The side hammered the bottom side 11-2 with only two players, player-captain Vincent Kasasa and Topher Kyamanywa tormenting the side.

Kasasa scored four goals while Kyamanywa had seven to his name, and Weatherhead ascended second in the league dislodging Wananchi who were out of action over the weekend.
With only four games left to the end of the campaign, Weatherhead, now with 26 points trail table leaders by two points.
It is the closest they’ve come to winning the trophy since lifting it in 2011 and Kasasa isn’t ready to misuse this opportunity.
