Barely 24 hours after being announced as Express FC Coach, Shafik Bisaso will be in charge of his first game for the Red Eagles.
Express host log leaders Police FC seeking to build on the 2-1 win over Proline on Saturday as they aim to move up the 16-team log.
“I am happy to come here for work,” said Bisaso at his unveiling. “It is a big test ahead of me,” he added.
Indeed, the big test starts with the visit of the Cops who will be eager to maintain their league summit status.
Abdallah Mubiru who worked with Bisaso at Proline has congratulated upon getting the job and expects a tough game against a traditional giant with an intimidating ground.
“First of all, let me congratulate the coach (Bisaso) on the appointment,” he said. “We are facing a big team with an intimidating ground and that coupled with a new coach, it will be tough,” added Mubiru.

“But like our target has been since the start of the season, we want to compete and so we are ready and target three points.
Like Express, Police also comes into the game on the back of a hard fought but important 2-1 win over URA that kept them afloat the log.
They will have to battle the Red Eagles minus midfielder Rahmat Ssenfuka who is serving a one match ban for accumulating three yellow cards.

Albert Mugisa is also out (on leave to do his University Examinations) but Paul Willa and Yasin Mugume are likely to return after sitting out against URA due to injuries.
Daniel Mzee Sserunkuma, David Ndihabwe and Davis Mayanja must be at their best of the six time champions are to win against a tough side.
