Japanese star footballer Keisuke Honda will hold special training sessions for refugees and disadvantaged children in three African countries Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda.

The campaign is code named ‘Africa Dream Soccer Tour’ supported by car-Tana.com.

Coaches from Soltilo familia soccer school will provide the soccer lessons to the refugees and children living in the slums of Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda.

This is part of the Soltilo social contribution activity in hope of these children finding their dreams and hope.

Honda Estilo Corporation is also looking for companies and partners with the same beliefs and can bring excitement to this activity together.

Honda has brilliant and appealing thoughts for education of children in Africa;

I am a professional soccer player, an entrepreneur, and an educator.

My mission is to support the education of our education, especially in the less fortunate countries.

When I look around the world today, I see efforts made by developed countries to help people in developing countries.

This is of course necessary. I believe the true solution is to give opportunities for local production for local consumption.

So, we just need to give our children an opportunity. As one of the opportunities, from 2009, we have done soccer camps in (At that time) 16 places in 9 countries to teach that is important to have a dream. Only  you can make your dream come true.

No one else. This spirit makes an independent person.

Kenya has the largest slum in Africa and Uganda accepts the most refugees in Africa – approximately 930,000 in the past.

Rwanda has received some of the most refugee applicants in the world.

According to Honda, he learnt the harsh situations that the children are put in this past June by meeting orphans and children living in refugee camps.

Even in these tough times, he was able to see the innocence and smiles in children.

The children being visited are important to think about for the future of children on a worldwide scale.

This activity is important for Honda Estilo in order to provide dreams and hope through soccer and education.

Honda brought back his experiences in Uganda to the coaches of Soltilo Familia Soccer School and discussed his feelings and ideas.

The coaches have inherited his ideas and will provide the opportunity for children in Africa to have dreams and hope.

While providing long-term soccer lessons, Honda Estilo Corporations is planning to provide career support to children who have various talents including soccer.

Rwanda will host the first Africa Dream Soccer tour in early December 2017 and mid-January 2018.

Kenya will follow suit in mid January 2018 and the middle of April 2018.

Between April and May 2018, the programme will come to Uganda before concluding in November 2018.

For starters, Honda visited Uganda in early 2017 with long time Ghanaian friend Sulley Muntari with a purpose of establishing an elite soccer school in Uganda.

In September 2017,  Honda took over the management of Bright Stars Football Club, a top flight team in the Uganda Premier League.
