St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende will be the place to be on Tuesday afternoon when mumbling giants Vipers and URA face off.

The two sides have had a stop start season but both come into the game on the back of important wins.

Vipers won 2-0 against Kirinya Jinja SS on Friday while URA beat Soana 1-0 at Namboole mid last week.

“The win against Kirinya means nothing if we don’t beat URA,” said Jorge Duarte Da Costa on Friday. “But we hope to build on this after a series of poor results,” he added.

Ibrahim Kirya was in attendance at Kitende on Friday and witnessed Milton Karisa and company beat Charles Ayiekoh’s side.

Speaking to Kawowo Sports, Kirya whose side lie 8th on the log with 16 points said his side have the quality to pick a good result at Vipers.

“No doubt about them being a good team,” he said. “But we have the quality to pick a result. We shall handle the game with caution but am optimistic,” he added.

Karisa who has netted five goals so far will be the main man for the Venoms while URA will rely on the experience and goal scoring instincts of Henry Kisekka and Labama Kamana Bokota.

The previous 14 league meetings have produced 4 wins for Vipers, 3 for URA and the rest are stalemates.
