Sports Club Villa Jogoo won their third frienly match in the mid-season break on Saturday.

The Jogoos defeated Buganda Regional League side Azam 4-0 at Villa Park, Nsambya in Kampala.

Yubu Bogere, George Ssenkaaba, Alex Ssemuyaba and Mahad ‘Yaya’ Kakoza were on target for Wasswa Bbosa and Paul Mutakabala’s coached club.

This was the third build up for SC Villa after the 7-1 win against Kampala Regional league side City Lads.

On Liberation day (26th January 2017), SC Villa pipped Kampala United 2-1 to lift the trophy that came along with gold medals.

The Jogoos head coach Wasswa Bbosa is impressed by the response of the players in training and the matches played so far;

We have been training well since we resumed training in mid January 2018. We have another week to train and we are toning down on the double sessions to one training session.

On Monday, Villa will train in the evening.

SC Villa will host Kampala Regional League side Hope Doves in the Uganda Cup Round of 64 clash at Masaka Recreational Stadium on Sunday, 4th February 2017.

The Jogoos currently lead the Uganda Premier League table standings with 32 points from 15 games.
