Maroons and Vipers have played to a one all draw in a Uganda Premier League duel at the Prisons Stadium, Luzira on Friday.

Daniel ‘Muzeyi’ Sserunkuma put the visitors in front after 24 minutes as the Venoms took a 1-0 lead to the mandatory halftime break of the live televised game.
This was Sserunkuma’s 10th goal of the season that further elevates him aloft the rest of the scorers.
The home team made a double change after an hour of action when Pius Obuya and William Kibi paved way for Emmanuel Olinga and Ivan Wani respectively.
With 20 minutes left on the clock, Patrick Gonahasa was introduced for defender Richard Ayiko as the Prisons run side added numbers up front.
The increased pressure for the home side finally paid off when Solomon Walusimbi got the equalizer for Maroons with 14 minutes from the final whistle. Walusimbi also scored for Maroons during the first leg at the St Mary’s Stadium on 18th November 2017.
Vipers called for a late double change with goal hero Sserunkuma coming off for the pacy Steven Mukwala and Ashraf Bamuturaki’s place was taken by Pius ‘Muzeei’ Wanji.
Maroons duo of Felix Okot and Eddie Kapampa Ssebiccu were cautioned by referee Alex Muhabi.
Bashir Asiku and Deus Bukenya were the booked Vipers players for unsporting conduct.
Vipers now have 36 points from 19 matches, and takes the top spot over SC Villa Jogoo (over goals scored although both clubs have the same goal difference) on the 16 team log.
Maroons add up one point to 27 from 19 matches as well.
Meanwhile, at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium, Proline and home side Express played out to non-scoring draw.
Action returns on Saturday with six matches.
