The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be in Uganda over the Easter Weekend to test Cricket Cranes ahead of the Division 4 Qualifiers in Malaysia due in April.

The Middle East Division 5 team was supposed to tour last year but couldn’t make it because of the Qualifiers they were participating in. However, as they prepare for their own t20 Asian qualifiers they will also be helping the Cricket Cranes prepare for the Division 4 qualifiers.

They will arrive in the country on 28th March and will play 4 ODIs and one T20 game with 3 games played at Lugogo and the other 2 at the Kyambogo Oval.

The Cricket Cranes have just returned from a 17 day tour of the Middle East and Asia where they played a total of 13 games winning 9 and losing only 4.

Since the team will be playing at home Coach Steve Tikolo will have a full team to choose from including the players who missed out on the recent tour.

This means that players like Arthur Kyobe who were left out of the recent tour will have a chance to impress the selectors before the final 14 for the important Division 4 tournament is selected.

Proposed venues for the games.
