Maroons coach Asaph Mwebaze was happy with a point off champions KCCA but feels his side deserved to collect all points.

The Prisons side held the Kasasiro to another goalless draw, similar to one in the reverse fixture but missed three good chances to win the game.

“I think we controlled the game well only that in the first half, we were not on top of the game,” Mwebaze told the media. “We let KCCA have territorial control advantage but in the second half with the introduction of Obuya,” he added.

We could have won the game but our finishing was also poor because I think Solomon Walusimbi should have scored when he went one on one, Kiibi should also have netted while Obuya opted to pass instead of shooting.

The hosts limited the reigning champions to a few goal scoring chances and Mwebaze couldn’t hide his feelings about it.

“We limited them to a few chances late in the game and our goalkeeper did well to thwart danger. Overall, it’s a very good point against KCCA and we got a very good one against Onduparaka which makes us grow in stature.

Maroons next game is away to four time champions, URA next week at Mandela National stadium, Namboole.
