Having suffered defeat in their opening game of the season against Masaka L.C on Tuesday, SC.villa will need maximum points when they face bogey side Police F.C in their second league game. The blues will rely on dependable striker Wasswa Herman for goals in a game that is set to be live on SS9 from Namboole stadium. Coach Zivo was not happy with the way his boys wasted numerous scoring opportunities in the 1-o defeat at Masaka. However, he si expected to reshuffle the pack by starting Eurukana Nkugwa on the left side of midfield in the place of Moses Ndawula and may be forced to resort to the traditional 4-4-2 formation from the 4-3-3 system which the technical team claims was part of the reasons they lost in Masaka. This will mean introducing Emmanuel Kalyowa to partner lethal striker Herman Wasswa in attack and then Simon Sserunkuma nad Nkugwa Eurukana Manning the wings with new captain Guma Denis and Fred Muhumuzza in central midfield. He may also have right back Ayub Kisalitta cleared to play after missing the gem in the opener. Ochan Benjamin is expected to maintain his goal keeping role. The Jogoos continue to miss new recruit Noah Ssemakula who is out with a knee injury.
However, Police coach Angelo Lonyesi says his side is prepared for the task ahead and promised to teach Villa how to play football by denying them maximum points. The cops are expected to rely on the experience of reliable midfielder Lwanga Sula while Kafeero Musa and Captain David Yiga are expected to neutralise the villa attacks in defence. Striker Joram Katende will be the man to look for goals. The cops will however miss the services of talented winger Arthur Ssemazzi who is out injured.
In other games, K.CC f.c bouyed by the 4-1 win of UTODA F.C will be looking to continue with their fine start to the campaign when they host league debuntants Waters f.c in another mouth watering tie at Namboole stadium. Coach Matia Lule will again rely on new signing Micheal Birungi who netted a brace against his former employers in the opening game. Captain Richard Malinga will man the defence while Kamad ”ndiefi” ssebagala will provide the craetive spark in midfield.
Waters f.c coach Charles Ayieko maintains that he has respect for k.c.c but does not fear them. His charges are well prepared for the game and they are going out for nothing but maximum points. Midfielder Joseph ”mzee” Bukenya is expected to be the main link of creativity for the big striker Ogunde Julius while captain Tamale Musa will still be maintained at right back with the experience of former kcc defender Sam Ssenoga expected to be vital at left back.
Else where, Simba sc host on form Masaka L.c at bombo with tactician Fred Kajjoba eager to collect all the three points. Soft spoken Masaka L.c coach Kefa Kisaala however said that he expects his boys to continue their fine form and to build on the 1-0 win over Villa last Tuesday. Godfrey Wakaza is expected to be the main source of goals for the army side while Oyirith Daniel and Odeke Charles will partner each in search of goals for the masaka based team. Gifted midfielder Kigongo Baker is expected to maintain his slot in midfield.
