URA football club went three points clear in the Bell Lager Super League with a win 2-0 win over unbeaten Police FC as Express and KCC dropped points in today’s games played at various grounds in the country.
Debutant Vincent Kayizzi struck in the 33 minute to put the tax collectors noses infront, then skipper Manco Kawesa, doubled the lead in the 72 minute from the spot after subsistute Said Kyeyune, was brought down in the penalty box at Mandela stadium however the result was over shadowed by the return of Andrew Mukasa, who was back after eight years of sickness. URA has 13 points from five games.
In the other games Express fell at home at Mutesa II Stadium,Wankulukuku to FireMasters 2-0 thus losing their unbeaten run in the league. They now drop to third position with eight points out five games. Masaka LC who where 1-0 winners over Victor at the Saza ground are now second with ten points out of six games.
KCC struggled to a 2-all draw against Bidco at Kakindu stadium and have five points out of five and lie in seventh position. Proline FC and Utoda drew 0-0 at Nakivubo with the taxi touts picking up their second point in a space of three days.
