Ugandan badminton star Edwin Ekiring has switched his concentration and attention to the Norwegian International that will be held on November 17-20 in Oslo, Norway.
“This is a big event and I need to be at my best for this tournament,” Ekiring said in a message to Kawowo sports. “I need to concentrate fully as I cannot afford any more mistakes in this tournament.”
Ekiring has just ended two events that is the Dutch Open where he reached the second round while last weekend he reached the semi-finals of the Ethiopia International losing to Croatia’s Luka Zdenjak 19-21,18-21.
The All Africa games silver medalist is using the tournaments on the professional circuit to improve his rankings globally and also preparations for the London 2012 Olympics.
