KCC to honour game

Embattled league giants KCC FC will honour their derby game with Express FC tomorrow at Mandela Stadium in the Bell Lager Uganda Super League. There had been speculations that they would not honour their match because of a player strike.

“We shall honour our game with Express tomorrow,” Ahmed Kabuye, the club’s team manager told Kawowo sports. “The issue of players going on strike has been created by the players and the media as far am concerned we have up to date with players salaries and they are now trying to shift attention elsewhere.”

KCC has registered one win out of six games and has lost a total of 13 points and lie third from the bottom in the 15 team league.

Tomorrow’s encounter with their bitter rivals is a must win for them or else they will be starring at relegation and will be shown on Super Sport 9.

Other games that will feature include a game between Water FC and Simba FC will also be shown on the same channel.  Table leader URA FC takes on Proline FC at Lugazi while Bunamwaya FC takes on Maroons FC at Buikwe stadium. Bidco FC takes on Masaka LC at Kakindu stadium and Utoda FC takes on SC Villa in a rescheduled game at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
