Two big egos will be sorted out today when Titus “The Rock”Tugume and Malik “The Hitman” Kalisa go for the vacant light heavyweight kick boxing title at Kati Kati Restaurant this evening.
The two fighters will be vying for the national title that has been put up for grabs by Uganda Kick Boxing Federation with the winner walking away with 10 million shillings while the loser takes 5 million.
The winner of the fight will then challenge the African champion Moses Golola.
“I am ready to slit this guy’s throat,” Kalisa said about this opponent ahead of the fight today. “I am looking forward to beating him and claiming the money and belt with it.”
Tugume fired back a salvo of words “I will leave the talking in the ring when I chop my opponent down,” he said. “He will need an ambulance to take him to hospital after the fight.”
The fight is being promoted by famous designer and socialite Slyvia Owori. Golola has stated that he would rather fight a soldier in his next fight.
The event will also have several support fights and entertainment by Jackie Chandiru, Bobi Wine, Cheer leaders.
