Thirteen clubs in the Bell Lager Uganda Super League received sports kits worth 150 million from the sponsors of the league today at USL offices at Kamwokya.
The kits included balls, jerseys to the 13 clubs minus Proline FC and Bunamwaya FC had their kitty given to them by East African Breweries Limited manager Innocent Tibayeita in the presence of the chairman of USL Kavuma Kabenge and various club players and officials.
This comes shortly after Bell Lager made a contribution of water, to the Super League teams, valued at 30 million last week.
According to Tibayeita, EABL manager Premium Brands, Bell Lagers’ association with the Bell Super League is evidence of the brand’s strong heritage and commitment to the growth and development of local football.
Over the next three year sponsorship period, the clubs taking part in the Bell Super League can expect more support from Bell totaling over 2 billion.
