Golola to donate 10 million

African super middleweight kick boxing champion Moses Golola will donate 10 million shillings to fallen sports scribe Bashir Khan Lugudo’s family when he vies for the vacant inter-continental belt against Hungary’s Andras Nagy on December 9 at Hotel Africana.

Bashir, who was a highly respected television presenter lost his life in July after battling with lung problems. “We sports men are human and we also think about people who where close to us and who dedicated their work to promote sports and Khan was an exceptional example in the sports fraternity,” Golola said today. “I have decided to donate 10 million to his family.”

The world’s number 14 kick boxer is vying for the vacant World Kick Boxing Federation intercontinental super middleweight title against Hungarian Nagy in what will be a significant fight for him to open doors for him to attempt for a world title next year.

His main event that is being promoted by promoter Patrick Kanyomozi under his label Kweli Productions will feature six undercard fights which will have fighters from five countries Kenya, Tanzania, South Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo.
