Excellency, consistency and good football skills will be rewarded by Bell Lager the sponsors of the Uganda Super League starting on November 7.
Uganda Breweries will reward the best players for the month of
October and November at a venue yet to be announced according to the organisers of the league.
“We are going to have our first ever monthly awards and we shall be holding them every month.This is part of the sponsorship that was included between us and our sponsors,” USL chairman Kavuma Kabenge said on Monday. “A panel of soccer agents, statisticians and officials from the league will determine the winners of the monthly accolades.”
The awards will not come with an incentive of cash however the winners will walk away with trophies and medals. These awards will lead to the end of year awards where they will award the best players of the season that is in each position with an overall winner this gala will also have winners walk away with cash prizes by the sponsors.
