Matovu takes on Jesse Enamu at 5.30pm other scheduled games will see seed four Timothy Kayondo taking on Anthony Mugisha while seed three J.B Tamwesigire takes on Ethiopian Kifle Degafu. Seed six Steven Musisi takes on Sula Seremba in what is expected to be a thriller.
Yesterday all the top seeds in group B received byes into the next round and today will get an opportunity to swing their racquets. The Elite group will start their games tomorrow with defending men’s champion Michael Kawooya, who is the top seed eyeing a double at this tournament.
The tournament is broken down to three events that is the main event that will see an elite group battling with those that are elevated in every round that is group B with the losers in the first round dropping to the plate event.
