Warriors Disconnect Power

The MTN FUBA title hopefuls, the Kyambogo Warriors ended the regular season in style after coming from down by 10 points to beat Dmark Power 96-94 in the final game of the regular season.

Power led the first quarter 29-19 and warriors took the second quarter 17-14 in a thrilling game. In the third quarter Power looked to be up for a win as they led 28-20 only to succumb in the final quarter

loosing it 23 – 32. This meant they retain their second place and will play against Miracle Eagles in the playoffs as the regular season winners Kyambogo Warriors will meet UCU canons in the playoff game.

Earlier KIU titans saw off Ndejje University  Angels 70-64. The ladies final game of the regular season saw UCU lady Canons beat A1 challengers 43-29 in a dulll game.

Meanwhile, Southern Sudanese side Bilpam Warriors will play friendlies with teams that have qualified for the playoffs as curtains raisers.
